I am glad that I was here soon enough to know Bill before his health failed him. I walk a lot around town for exercise and I saw Bill driving around often. When I would see him later he would always comment about not running over me. I always sat with Bill at Lions Club and he was a very positive guy. He told me many tales about his family and about Memphis. I was blessed to know Bill. I hate that we did not get back in town for his service I would have liked to be there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have been in Memphis since 1946 & with my husband WM raised our family here. Bill & I are same age. I always appreciated Bills fast response to any plumbing emergency or problem we ever had.
Bill was a great part

Bill will truly be missed by everyone in Memphis at one time or another. This is a very special thought I hope by all his family. Bill did know where every water meter was in town. As well as where & all details of 99% of the structures in town concerning the plumbing.
This would sound odd in anyone's memory except the "perfect Master Plumber" in His Hometown; which is our " Mr. Bill Ballew"!!!!
