Ray Shearl Hudson's Obituary
Ray Shearl Hudson, 78, of Briscoe died Tuesday, November 3, 2020 in Wheeler.
Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 6, 2020 in Cornerstone Church in Wheeler. Burial will follow in Gageby Cemetery in Gageby.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Ray “Soda Pop” Hudson was born in Wheeler, Tx May 18th 1942 to Oden & Lois (Vaughn) Hudson. Raised in Briscoe, Tx & graduated from Briscoe High School in 1960. He married Patricia Ann Black of Wheeler, Tx June 1st 1960. He was enlisted in the US Air Force & served proudly from 1960 – 1969.
He was preceded in death by his Parents Oden & Lois (Vaughn) Hudson & his first wife Patricia Ann Hudson.
He is survived by his wife Glenda Hudson of Briscoe; 5 daughters, Sonya Hudson of Canadian, TX, Cindy Sweet of Lamesa, TX Cheryl Cano & husband Ray of Canadian, Tina Sparks of Perryton & Jennifer Whitehurst & husband Cole of Wichita Falls; 2 sons, Brady Hudson & wife Cynthia of Stillwater, OK & Rodney Hudson & wife Kerri of Enid, OK; 32 grandkids; 22 great grandkids; 1 brother Melvin Hudson & wife Lavern of Chesapeake,VA;1 sister Sharon Bertrand & husband Harold of Panhandle, TX; 1 sister in law Mary Jones of Wheeler, TX; Numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Ray touched a multitude of lives & leaves behind a legacy to be proud of.
