SERVICES- 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in the First United Methodist Church in Shamrock with Rev. Jarrod Neal, officiating.
INTERMENT – Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Mickey was born November 2, 1932 in Mingus, Texas to Talmidge and Nora Wilson. She married Donald Shadrick Bradley on December 26, 1954 in Amarillo. She had been a resident of Shamrock since 1960 where she helped start Irish Helping Hands and Shamrock Meals on Wheels. She had volunteered for 25 years with Irish Helping Hands. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Shamrock where she was youth co-director for several years. She was a board member for the Pioneer Museum and the Genealogical Society; and a member of the Emerald Study Club and Cowbelles. In 1986, she was named outstanding citizen by the Shamrock Chamber of Commerce. In 2001, she was recognized as the Super Team of Volunteers in the Texas Panhandle for her involvement in Irish Helping Hands and Shamrock Meals on Wheels. Mickey was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- her parents; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
SURVIVORS- her husband, Don Bradley of Shamrock; 2 daughters, Terri Schurr and husband Bill of Dallas and Sharla Blair and husband Michael of Midland; 2 grandchildren, Allison Schurr and Michaela Blair; and a great grandchild, Oliver Schurr.
MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to Shamrock Meals on Wheels or the First United Methodist Church in Shamrock.
