I was very sorry to hear of Mickey's passing. She was a wonderful woman, caring and giving and always helping others. Sharla, one of her daughters was one of my best friends growing up and we would later go on to be roommates for 2 yrs in Lubbock. Mickey helped out with potlucks at our church and meals for families after funerals and anywhere else the church needed her. Her legacy with Irish Helping Hands and Shamrock Meals on Wheels will live on and hopefully inspire others to carry on helping those organizations. Whenever there were birthday parties for friends or picnics in the park or at the Country Club after we graduated from High School Mickey was usually always there. She had a smile on her face and was so nice to all of us. When those of us who were friends with Sharla got older we kidded around with her and called her Nelda Ruth, instead of Mickey, and she didn't get upset, she just laughed with us. The Bradley house was always full of love and laughter whenever I visited.
My prayers are with Don and Terri and Bill, Sharla and Michael and Allison and Michaela and Oliver and the rest of her family. She will be greatly missed.
So sorry for the loss of such a special person. The family of Robert & Jewell Lee will be eternally grateful to this wonderful neighbor and caring friend.
So sorry to hear of Mickey's passing. She was a wonderful woman and mother to one of my best friends growing up, who later became my roommate for 2 years. My thoughts and prayers go out to Don and Terri and Bill and Sharla and Michael, Allison, Michaela and Oliver. Mickey or Nelda Ruth as we sometimes called her when we got older just kidding around with her was always fun to be around. Mickey always had a smile on her face and I loved going to the Bradley's house when we were growing up and loved the birthday parties she threw for Sharla. The Bradley's house was filled with laughter and love. Mickey was a very caring person and loved helping others and her legacy with The Shamrock Meals on Wheels will live on. She will be missed by me and by so many others.
