In my more than 38 years in Human Resources, including 8 years at Amarillo National Bank, I never had a better co-worker, employee and friend than Beth Schoon. There was a period of time where Don was also in the computer business and taught me a bunch of useful, if not obscure, tips and tricks. And my 2 boys were gifted guinea pigs by Beth and Don. Well done, Beth. God be with you evermore.
Only today heard about Beth's passing and just wanted to let Don and Shonda know how much I loved their wife and mother. I started my HR career at ANB and worked with Beth for several years. In the ensuing 30 years, I worked in HR in several organizations, large and small. I worked with many fine people, but nobody surpassed Beth. What a wonderful, warm woman. My deepest sympathy on the loss of Mary Beth. Even though we were separated by several miles, I always felt she, and your family were just a phone call away. I wish we lived closer because I valued our time together so much. Mary Beth will be greatly missed, she will always hold a special place in my heart.
