I was a member of the 49ers luncheon group that enjoyed listening to Marion's stories of Memphis and Hall County. He always had some news of interest to all of us. He was a generous man, treating us to our lunch many times. I always thought he was so perfectly dressed and groomed and looking younger than his years. All of these are good memories. My sympathies to Glenna Rae and his family.

Mr. Posey was a favorite customer of mine in the John Deere business for all the years I was in the Memphis/Childress area. One of the most enjoyable men I was ever around. He was one that would tell you where he stood and stand by it. He was a man of his word and that meant a lot to me. We always got along well and I always enjoyed when he came in the stores.

A true Salt of the Earth man in my opinion.
