Carolyn Stephenson May Shelhamer
Lynda Cornett Summers will truly be missed by many friends and family. She was a special friend all through high school and later to the end of life with my sister Maxine Stephenson Kelso. They were best friends all during those years in Groom High School, and kept in close touch during their adult years and raising families. It was a very special friendship. I was the little sister watching them and remember how lucky they were to have that kind of forever friendship. Lynda was a Christian and very happy to share her story and testimony with us all, and we were greatly influenced by her eternal optimism and kindness towards others. We all loved her greatly and will remember her sweet smile and encouragement she always gave us! Rest in peace, dear Lynda.
