Have many good memories of Dot's and Sid's store, and the many years they ran the Post Office at Lelia Lake. My condolences to the Pointer family.
Family was extremely important to Dot. All of you in the immediate family circle can strongly testify to that, as well as those of us who knew her only briefly. Her kindness and willingness to share family stories with all of us will be a cherished memory forever--that in itself is a powerul legacy she has left for every one of us.Our thoughts and prayers will be with all family members during the upcoming days.Donna and Bob Dye
Aunt Dot was a wonderful lady. She always made me feel welcome when we came to visit. She had a beautiful spirit and a heart to match. I will miss visiting her.Regina Campbell-Sallee, Sue's oldest daughter
Aunt Dot was an exceptional lady. She was the last of 10 children and was an inspiration to all her nieces and nephews. She touched all our lives.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family in your time of grief.
Dot helped me so much with the family history and I will miss her. Lou Lynch

There will never be anyone like Dot. She was my second mother and we loved her so much. She had a wonderful mind and was always so interested in everything. She could write the very best letters. She could write about the weather and turn it into an interesting story. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Dot will be missed and was loved by all! I know I will miss her funnies stories and the love she shared with everyone! She was such a special person-one of a kind!
