My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Mrs. Greene was a great teacher and friend.
My sympathy to the family.
The first grade was many years ago...Laurie always had a lot of energy and determination. She hada lot of empathy & patience for her grandmother during the months relapse on the aniversary of her grandfather's demise. At times, itseemed difficult to be an onlychild and she was one of many inour class due to the Depressionin the 30s.
Sorry to hear of Mrs. Greene's passing. I had her as a teacher in Olton for Senior English. I hated her book reports because you actually had to read the book, but it was good for me. She was a very knowledgeale women who knew alot about many subjects. Glad I got to see her at the Olton reunion she attended a few years ago. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
Russell,I was so sorry to hear about your mother. Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
I have so many fond memories of Mrs. Greene. I met her when I was a teenager. I remember her classroom was a place of fun. She enjoyed our nonsense. So often she turned her head to smile and laugh when other teachers would have tried to stop us from being kids. I respected her. I am so very sorry for your loss.
Mrs. Greene was a wonderful English and Spanish teacher and class sponsor. The Olton High School Class of 1988 will miss her deeply. She was a joy to have at our 20th reunion. I was looking forward to having her attend our 25th. Prayers are going up for her family at this sad time. She was a beautiful woman.
My most heart felt condolences go out to the family and friends. May God see you through these difficult times. God Bless
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I enjoyed having Ms. Greene as a teacher in Shamrock.
I worked with Laurie at Shamrock and she taught our two daughters in Spanish. We are very saddened at her passing. Our prayers are with you. I visited with Laurie last year at a student's funeral, she had lots of pictures to show of you and the grandchildren.Sincerely,Betty Pierce
