I would like to send my condolences to all of Jim's family, he will be missed. I am Bobby Ellerbrook I live in Clarendon I am the pastor of Body of Christ Church, Jim and I started on the same Kairos together #9 and have been working them together ever since. Even when he would have surgeries, as soon as he could he would get back to serving the Lord through Kairos, he would tell me in conversation ever once in a while that he was hurting, but he would say quitting is not an option. He was a great example to the rest of Christians to keep on serving the Lord all the way to the end of our earthly life. I had just talked to Jim on Thursday before he passed away on Saturday, that we wouldn't have prayer and share at the prison because it was locked down. Jim and Steve Carter and myself would go to prayer and share every Thursday. Jim was very faithful to the work of the Lord. It brought me to tears when I heard that he went to be with the Lord, but then I am kind of jealous that he beat me there !! Jim will be missed by me and all of our Kairos family. He was a great man. I pray that this brings ya'll some comfort. We here at the Body of Christ have been praying for ya'll to experience God's love and comfort and peace, and we will continue to keep praying for ya'll. kairos won't be the same without Jim. I will never forget what Jim meant to me !!! May God bless ya'll during this time of mourning.
