Lynn, your mom was great. Thank you for sharing her with us. Great times and fond memories. Wish I could have played golf with her. Love and prayers to you and your family. Candy and Randy Land
FOR THE CLASS OF 1949, SHE WAS THE WIND UNDER OUR WINGS AND WAS LOVED BY ALL OF US.
I am forever indebted to Mrs. Laycock for the superior education I received under her tutelage. She was one in a million. Grit and grace combined in one outstanding educator. May her family find comfort in knowing the numbers of students she touched and shaped; who now take pause to share our remembrance of such a special person.
Lynn and family, Helen was a wonderful teacher and my co-worker at Shamrock. My thoughts and prayers are for the family at this time. Leta
Mrs. Laycock was my favorite teacher of all time. She was full of fun, but taught us respect. She was strict and demanded much of us, but we were made the better for it. She taught her students much more than the English language. She was everything a teacher should be and so much more. May she rest in peace. Prayers to her friends and family.
