AMARILLO SERVICES- Graveside services at 10:00 am on Friday, February 17, 2006 in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with Rev. Bryan Knowles, Retired Baptist Minister from Clarendon, officiating. Cremation took place February 16, 2006 in Vega at City View Crematory. INTERMENT- Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon Mrs. Stone was born May 22, 1932 in Clarendon where she lived until moving to Amarillo over 50 years ago. She was married to Emory C. “Red” Stone, who preceded her in death on November 6, 2000. She had worked as a secretary in several places prior to her retirement. She loved to fish and garden and to “dig in the dirt”. She was a member of the Highland Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS - 2 daughters, Kathy Savers and husband Michael of Dalhart, Karen Bates and husband Phillip of Waco; 3 sisters, Sammy Jean Ipson of Monroe, UT, Laddell Danielson of Paradise, UT, Mary Helen Bauer of Salt Lake City, UT; and 3 grandchildren, Shane Swaney, Matthew Storrs, and Brent Raney. MEMORIALS - The family requests that memorials be to Citizens Cemetery Association in Clarendon.
