Karen Bates Of Moody, Texas
My mother was the most wonderful mother a person could have. She loved me dearly. I could always talk to her, and whenever she would visit she always made sure I was stocked up with plenty of food in the pantry. She loved digging in the dirt and always had beautiful flowers. She also loved fishing and could have fished 24 hours a day. Her children were her life and it is an honor to have been her daughter. I will miss not being able to pick up the phone and call her and hear her caring voice. She will never know how much I truly loved her. I am so grateful that her pain and suffering are over. She was unique and one of a kind, and there will never be another one like her. She graduated peacefully in her sleep to the other side and was greeted by her mother, Stella May, and a host of other loved ones who preceeded her. I am just so grateful that she left this world peacefully without suffering and rests in the arms of the Lord. I will always have such precious memories of her in my heart, and will cherish those until I meet her again on my graduation day. I love you Mema and miss you greatly. She is now my guardian angel. I love you mother(Mema). Your dear daughter, Karen
