Cleve Wayne Parsons' Obituary
Cleve Parsons passed away Monday, April 4, 2011 in Van Alstyne, Tx. Services will be Friday, April 08, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the First Baptist Church, Shamrock, with Cottie Tarbet, officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery, Shamrock, TX under the direction of Wright Funeral Directors.
Cleve W. Parsons was born July 5, 1920 in Lela, TX to Aaron Frances and Alice Irene Clynch Parsons. Cleve served in the US Army, Navy Branch, during World War II, he worked for Ashland Chemical Carbon Black Plant; was a Supervisor for United Carbon in India; and became a builder in home constructions. He married Velma Lewis and she preceded him in death in April 1989. He then married Farrol Pool Parsons. Cleve was a member of First Baptist Church in Shamrock. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Kay Parsons in 1955; 1 brother, 3 sisters and his parents. Survivors: Wife - Farrol Parsons - Shamrock, 1 Son -Keith Wayne Parsons & wife Gisele -Princeton, TX, 1 Brother - Jimmy Parsons - Amarillo, 4 Sisters - Edyth Egan - New Jersey, Dolly Johnson - Amarillo, Othela Lowell - Oklahoma City, OK, Della Mae Stokes - Shamrock, 3 Grandchildren - Jennifer Mallen, Kirk Parsons and Dirk Parsons, 7 Great Grandchildren
