Max Roemhild Of Minneapolis Minnesota
I met Cleve in the late seventies, I was young and had left home. While on the road, I ran out of gas in Shamrock. I stopped and asked around for work and was sent to the church that referred me to Cleve. He took me under his wing right away and was kind enough to employ me and help me find a place to live. He was the one person in my life that gave me good advice and pointed me in the right direction, which He knew I was in dire need of. Even though I only spent a few short months in Shamrock, I still carry the life lessons he taught me, and I can truly say that I am a better man because of his grace towards me. Regretably I left in a hurry and didn’t take the time to tell him thank you for all he had done for me. Over the years I was able to get into contact with him again and fill him in on my progress. On Sunday I was able to contact his wife who gave me the news of his illness. We headed over to the home and I was finally able to tell him thank you for the impact he made in my life. For this opportunity I am so thankful. He was a good man and I am sure that he will be missed by all those who knew him. As for me,I'll remember him forever.Sincerely;Max Roemhild
