Chris Weeks Doyle's Obituary
Chris Weeks Doyle, 71, of Claude, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at her home in Claude.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Claude Cemetery.
Viewing will be held from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Robertson's in Claude.
Cremation and arrangements are under the care of Robertson Funeral Directors.
Chris was born on August 9, 1954, in Pasadena, California, to Jack and Sue Berry Weeks. She married John Watson Doyle on December 23, 1976, in Claude, Texas, where they built their life together.
A longtime resident of Claude, Chris worked at Bell Helicopter and later with the United States Postal Service. She faithfully volunteered with the Claude Cemetery for more than 15 years, dedicating countless hours to serving her community. She was a proud Democrat and believed strongly in the values she supported.
Chris had a lifelong passion for horses and spent many years working with and training them. She also loved gardening and was known for her exceptional green thumb. An excellent cook, she enjoyed preparing meals for those she loved and spending time playing backgammon with family and friends.
Above all, Chris treasured her family. She found her greatest joy in raising her children and helping care for her grandchildren, creating lasting memories through her love, guidance, and devotion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Sue Weeks; her daughters, Anna Callie Doyle and Adria Mae Doyle; and her brother, David Weeks.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 49 years, John Doyle of Claude; her son, Buggsy Doyle and wife Brittany of Fort Worth; and her grandchildren, Cool Pennon, Watson Doyle, Monroe Doyle, and Gemma Doyle.
