Charles Leon "Chuck" Stout's Obituary
CLARENDON SERVICES - 10:00 am, Monday, June 12, 2006 in the First Baptist Church in Clarendon with Rev. Dave Stout, Rev. Scott Jones, and Rev. Mark Metzger, family members, officiating. INTERMENT - Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Mr. Stout was born in Goodnight, Texas to Rev. John Henry and Jonnie Dillehay Stout. He was a resident of DeSoto before moving to Clarendon approximately 7 years ago. He had been a coach and teacher for much of his life at schools in Clovis, NM, Muleshoe, DeSoto, Corsicana, Weimar, Clarendon, and Clarendon College. He was a member of the Clarendon Rotary Club and the First Baptist Church in Clarendon. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - his father on December 11, 1986 and his mother on January 3, 2006. SURVIVORS - 2 sisters, Linda Babcock and husband Kenneth of Groom, Nell Jones of Clovis, NM; 2 brothers, Dave Stout and wife Linda of Clarendon, and James E. Stout and wife Betty of San Antonio.
