Chuck was my friend. He and I shared so many great times. We were in pursuit of making a contribution to the Clarendon community. Whether it was selling pumpkins in order to provide scholarships for a High School student, gathering teddy bears for the ambulance authority, collecting books for children in Africa, or selling ice cream to assist the Rotary, Chuck was unflinching in his determination to make the world around him a better place. He emailed his latest poems for me to enjoy. I open email now, expecting to hear from my dear friend. I will miss him. I didn't know him before his health was compromised by Parkinsons, but the man I knew was impressive beyond measure. He met each challenge, especially the one with his health, with grace and dignity. He truly enriched the lives of everyone who knew him.My love to each family member...Linda
