A few days ago I found a school picture of Carol when she was in Jr. High and I wondered what had happened to her. I was 5 years older than she, but I knew her from church and Rainbow girls and she was such a sweet girl. I remember stopping at the Vietnam memorial in New Mexico one time with my folks, Herman and Alice Ochs, and Daddy telling me about Carol's husband. I, too, thought it was so tragic; but like Mary Helen I see that God had great plans for her. My husband passed away in July and he had had Alzheimer's for the past five years; and we were both McMurry graduates, and I never knew Carol graduated from there. I do have a picture of her in the reception line at our wedding. She touched so many lives and those memories live on. RIP, Carol and blessed memories for your family.

to Carol's family. Such a sweet lady, I do remember. Carols mom and my mother in law, Geneva Lummus were best friends. Irene was a RN and would give my daughter her allergy shots. I am 86 now and can remember when her husband died thinking that was the worst tragedy. As a believer in a Sovereign God, we dont see the big picture, but reading her obit, what wonderful plans He had for her life.
