Paul and I were so sad to hear of Coach Merrill’s passing, He was truly
one of the good ones! He coached our daughter, Randi, in track at IPHS for 4 years and always made it fun! He had a special gift for working with kids! He will be missed by so many! RIP Coach. Paul and Susan Tigrett

Besides being my classmate and friend, my family was friends with Bruce’s family. I have great memories of our little brothers playing together in our front yard. One of those days, Bruce was zigzag pulling our little red wagon across our yard with me and the little brothers in pursuit! As I made my heroic lunge toward that wagon, it hit a big yard bump and made direct contact with my front tooth! Over the years since that time when experiencing dental work pertaining to that tooth, I have thought of Bruce……in a grateful, “those were the good ol’ days” kind of way. Much love and prayers for the family as they honor his life.

How can you describe someone you went to school with for almost 12 years. We grew up together. We were all brothers and sisters. Not having him at class reunions will be sad, as one more is gone. It makes us realize our own mortality. We’re the old timers now. Job well done Bruce! Prayers to his family and friends.
