I am so sorry that I am just now seeing this. I just got out of the hospital, and trying to get better. I was blessed to have known all of the Bass family. I first met Barbara and Bert when I was a junior in high school while I was dating Rodney. They were so sweet and precious, and would always welcome me to their home. We had some long talks even if Rodney was not there!!! Cynthia and Liz were amazing daughters and sisters! Barbara always called Rodney, "My Rod." Thanks to Rodney for taking such good care of his Mom! I was also blessed to teach with Liz for close to 30 years!!! She has always been there for me through the years. We watched our kids grow up together!!! I send love, comfort, and peace to the family, friends, and all who loved Barbara! I always told her she was such a beautiful mother as my mother was. They actually reminded me of each other! I am very sorry I didn't get to attend since I have been ill! Loved her to the moon and back!!!
