So glad I got to see Aunt Martha before she passed. When I was there, I could tell she was getting ready to go home. I know she is in a better place but she will be missed by all who knew her. Some of my fondest memories were of the Fort family reunions and our family trips to visit Aunt Martha,Uncle JP and all our cousins. It was then and is now one of my favorite trips to make. I will miss her e-mails and visits. She always thought of me as a better person than I am. She will truly be missed.
Martha was such a very special lady! Always had a smile and kind words. Loved playing canasta with her!! Prayers for her family! Sandra Prater
So sorry to hear of Martha’s passing but I know she is happy with our Lord now. One of my first memories of her was she told me the most important thing we do in life is love and worship God. If we do this then all else will follow as he will lead us on the right path. She was one of the most loving and selfless people I have ever known. Heaven gained one of the best angels when Martha went home.
