Willie Mae Nicholas (Othermommy), 100, of McLean, Texas passed away Friday, October 13, 2017. She was born September 23, 1917 to Maggie and Morris Brown of Chillicothe, Texas. She married Bo Nicholas in 1935 in Altus, Oklahoma and they made their home in McLean. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of McLean where she taught Sunday School for many years. Her greatest joy was her family, five generations strong, who all considered Othermommy’s house to be home. Her little dog Abby was her constant and cherished companion. We are greatly blessed and highly favored. Glory to God!
She was preceded in death by her husband Bo; her parents; her brothers, Richard, J.B., Herman and Morris Brown; her sisters, Beatrice Brown and Betty Pringle.
Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Evans of Amarillo and Coy Henry and husband Raymond of McClellan Creek; her sister, Dorothy Lock of Lefors; 3 granddaughters, Pam Hicks, Sydney Dophied, and Gina Homan; 7 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
