William Elvis Waddell's Obituary
AMARILLO / CLARENDON SERVICES - 2:00 pm on Monday, December 10, 2007 in the Robertson Funeral Directors Chapel of Memories with Rev. Calvin Burrow, Pastor of the Jesus Name Apostolic Church in Clarendon, officiating. INTERMENT - Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Our loving father passed away on Friday, December 7, 2007 at the age of 76. William was born September 25, 1931 in Clarendon to John Merrill & Gladys Webb Waddell. He married Emma Rea Howard on April 10, 1961 in Pampa. He had been a resident of Clarendon & Amarillo most of his life. He was a proud president of the Ironworkers Union. He enjoyed gardening, farming, and the outdoors. Dad touched many peoples lives that we didn’t mentioned that were special to him. He was baptized as a southern Baptist. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents; & 2 sisters. SURVIVORS- his wife, Emma Rea Waddell of Amarillo; 3 daughters, Billie Hagen & Tammie Diaz both of Amarillo, Vera McCoy of Lees Summit, Missouri; 2 sons, Michael Waddell and James Waddell both of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren, Angela Armigo, Theresa Sims, William Lamberson, Kimberly Lamberson, Krista Hagen, & Andy Hagen; 3 great-grandchildren, Analiyah Armigo, Morgan Lamberson, & Aubrey Stallings; and Jim Youngblood, considered as a son.
