William Gordon "Bill" Stiles IV's Obituary
William Gordon "Bill" Stiles, IV of Corpus Christi formerly of Wheeler died Thursday, October 13, 2022 in Corpus Christi.
Memorial services will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 24, 2022 in Cornerstone Church in Wheeler with James Greer and Russell Gibson, officiating. Inurnment will follow in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler.
Cremation & Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Bill was born June 25, 1962 in Shamrock to Kay and William Gordon "Bill" Stiles, III. He married Melinda Ann Davidson on December 21, 1991 in Wheeler. He had been a longtime resident of Wheeler before moving to Corpus Christi 2 1/2 years ago. Bill was a rancher where he loved the open range, horses, cattle, branding, and the ranch life. His hobbies included leatherwork, listening to music, going to the beach, scuba diving with his family, hunting, and fishing. Bill also volunteered going to youth camp for the church and helping with shooting sports for 4H kids. Bill loved his family, kids, grandkids, and making people always laugh.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Melinda Stiles of Corpus Christi; his parents, Bill and Kay Stiles of Wheeler; his son, William Gordon "Will" Stiles, V of Corpus Christi; his daughters, Makenzi Costilla and husband Reynaldo of Wheeler and Hannah Stiles of Corpus Christi; his brother, Glenn Stiles and wife Traci of Gainesville; his sister, Melody Velasquez and husband Fred of Fort Worth; 3 grandchildren, Emma, Houston, and Alexis Stiles; and numerous relatives.
