SERVICES – 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in Robertson Funeral Directors Route 66 Chapel in McLean with Rev. Thacker Haynes, officiating.
INTERMENT – Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean.

William was born December 30, 1954 in McLean to Ford and Shirley Pearson Smith. He married Charla Woodrume on August 24,1984 in Wheeler. He had been a lifetime resident of McLean and had worked as a mechanic and the City of McLean prior to his illness. He was a very special man, dearly loved his family, enjoyed helping others, and loved gardening.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his parents; a brother, Fred Smith; and a brother in law, Troy West.
SURVIVORS – his wife, Charla Smith of McLean; 3 sons, Mike Campbell of McLean, Neil Smith and Shane Smith both of Weatherford, Texas; 2 daughters, Chassidy Marsh of Tyler and Crystal Richards of Amarillo; a brother, Ford Smith of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Evonda Sherwood of Childress and Mary Selina Basham of McLean; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to the St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
