One of my favorite memories of Billy was coming down to Texas near Christmas. One year right after we got there he turned to me and said, "Y'all talk funny." To which I replied "No, you talk funny. " The truly funny part was usually by the next day I was talking just like them.
And then there was the epic hot wheels track Billy, Ricky, and my brothers built.
Later as adults I came to reconnect with my cousins on Facebook, and low and behold we have very similar senses of humour. We are both very punny.
I send my most sincere condolences to Billy's family. Long ago neighbors, Cindy, Susie, Rick and June, you are all in my prayers. May God comfort you and give you peace. Keep the memories of Billy alive in your hearts.
