William Daniel "Willie" McFalls' Obituary
William Daniel "Willie" McFalls, 77, of Memphis, Texas died Saturday, March 2, 2024 in Amarillo, Texas.
Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 9, 2024 in the Memphis Church of Christ with Mariland Sims and Woodrow Richardson, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Viewing will be held Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
William Daniel McFalls was born to the late Gaines and Thelma McFalls on November 28, 1946 in Memphis, Texas. Willie had a phenomenal career in music. He was named Monterey Bay Blues Society Male Vocalist of the Year in 2011 and was also named to the Texas Blues Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his kids, Keith McFalls and William McFalls, Jr.; his 3 sisters, Lola Richardson, Irene Sims, and Vera McFalls; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Gaines and Thelma McFalls; a sister, Bertha Mae McFalls Johnson; his brothers, Rudolph McFalls, Gaines "Tim" McFalls, Jr., Robert McFalls, David McFalls, Ronnie McFalls, and James McFalls.
