FRITCH SERVICES- Graveside services at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 28, 2006 in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with Don Johnston, Minister and Family Member, officiating. BURIAL- Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon Mr. Johnston was born June 18, 1922 to Robert H. and Goldie Johnston in Tuscumbia, Alabama. He married Lillian Kathryn Maxey on August 11, 1946 in Hedley. He also served in the US Army Air Corp during World War II. He then went to work for Phillips Petroleum as a Plant Operator where he worked for 40 years until his retirement in 1987. He was a resident of Stinnett before moving to Fritch in 1989. He was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Walter H. Johnston and Henry R. Johnston; one sister, Lucille Foster. Survivors include his wife, Lillian of Fritch; one daughter, Kathy Kunce of Borger; one son, Glenn Johnston of Fritch; 2 grandchildren, Krystal Kunce and Karen Kunce; 2 great grandchildren, Brandon Munoz and Blain Lewis; one brother, J. E. Johnston of Clarendon; and several nieces and nephews.
