Warren Miller's Obituary
Warren Miller, 70, of Claude died on Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Amarillo.
Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the Great Plains Western Church (west of Claude), with Royce Mason, pastor of Great Plains Western Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Claude Cemetery in Claude.
Viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Claude Armstrong Chapel in Claude.
Warren was born on February 28, 1948 in Amarillo to Clyde and Billie Rae McNeil Miller. He married Kathy Eisenhaur on June 15, 1969 in Claude. Warren had lived in Wildorado from 1971 until they moved back to Claude in 1995. He had farmed and ranched for most of his life and had worked for TxDOT until his retirement. Warren was a lifetime member of the NRA and loved playing golf. He enjoyed feeding his cattle and taking care of any and all types of animals. He could be found driving the standard rancher’s speed limit…55 mph. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed watching football and the NFR. His kids and grandkids were his pride and joy. He was a member of the Great Plains Western Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Miller of Claude; 3 children; Jami Joyce and husband Mike of Pinehurst, TX, Joi Barth and husband Greg of Amarillo, and Wade Miller and wife Carie of Claude; and by 7 grandchildren, Matt Montgomery and Meagan, Madison Hutto and Ty, Mitch Montgomery and Morgan Ellis, Bailey Joyce and Kolton Jefferis, Morgan Joyce, Britten Joyce, and Madison Dew.
