Wanda Jo Wilson's Obituary
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 in the Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon with John Ballard, retired pastor of First Baptist Church Lubbock, officiating.
Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Wanda was born to Mack Truelock and Thelma Hammons Truelock on January 12, 1929 in Paducah, TX.
She grew up and went to school in Paducah. She married Morris Stephens and had two children, SeReatha and Monte Stephens. They lived in Silverton and Quitaque, TX. Wanda later moved to Hereford and married David Wilson. The two retired to a small farm in Clarendon, TX.
Wanda did book keeping while in Hereford and then enjoyed raising alfalfa and cattle on their farm in Clarendon.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Wilson, her son, Monte Dale Stephens, and her granddaughter, April Stephens Montague.
Survivors include her daughter, SeReatha Stephens, of Lubbock, TX, her grandson, Shawn Stephens and his wife Britney of Prosper, TX and two great granddaughters, Riley and Finley Stephens, also of Prosper.
The family suggests memorials be made to Citizens’ Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 983, Clarendon, TX 79226.
