CLAUDE GRAVESIDE SERVICES- 2:00 pm Friday, January 7, 2011 at Kirkland Cemetery in Kirkland. INTERMENT- Kirkland Cemetery in Kirkland. Arrangements are by Robertson Armstrong Chapel of Claude. Wanda Jean Hughes Todd King was born June 23, 1931 in Kirkland to Samuel B. Walter and Lena B. Hughes. She resided in Abilene, Texas where she retired from Timex Corporation. Jean enjoyed the outdoors, loved pets, enjoyed gardening and camping. When she was able, she enjoyed spending many vacations in the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado and at lakes in East Texas with other family members. She was very close to her immediate siblings and their families. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her parents; her husband B.W. “Dub” Todd; her only child, her daughter Pam S. Lockin; 3 brothers, Elgin, Reid, and Gayland Hughes; 4 half brothers; and 4 half sisters. SURVIVORS - 4 nephews, Steve and Wendell Hughes of Amarillo, Jerry Hughes of Plano, and Terry Hughes of Cleveland, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews from her half brothers and sisters.
