W.P. “Bud” Lowe, 85, of Shamrock died Monday, April 9, 2018, in McLean.
Graveside Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, April 13, 2018 in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler with Dale Meadows, officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Mr. Lowe (Bud) was born January 26, 1933 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Ed and Maggie Lowe. He was one of eight children. Bud married Naomi Robertson on July 29, 1951 in Plano, Texas. They moved to Shamrock where he worked for Shamrock Gas Company and West Texas Gas for 44 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi; 2 daughters, Bonnie Meadows and husband Richard of Briscoe and Theresa Lewis and husband Mike of Canyon; 6 grandchildren, Leslie Wilson and husband Kevin of Midland, Ben Meadows and wife Tonia of Briscoe, Reagan Meadows of Amarillo, Buffy Lewis of Amarillo, Rodney Lewis of Dallas, Shane Lewis of Bushland; Great grandchildren, Shelbie Roberson and husband Zack of Larkspur, Colorado, Tanner Lewis of Canyon, Johnny Wilson of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Sydney Wilson of Midland, Bailey Meadows of Canyon, Hailey Meadows of Briscoe, and Jaxon Meadows of Briscoe; one sister, Edna Bower of Checotah, Oklahoma; one brother, Frank Lowe of Atoka, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.
The family request in lieu of flowers that memorials be sent to National Kidney Foundation or the Janae Goad Memorial Scholarship c/o Ft. Elliott ISD.
