Virginia Lopez, 63, of Memphis died Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Memphis.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Robertson Funeral Directors Heritage Chapel in Memphis.
Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis with Fr. Nicholas Gerber as the celebrant. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Virginia was born May 4, 1955 in Childress to Ernest and Janie Benetes. She married Demetrio Lopez on November 28, 2008 in Memphis. She had been a resident of Memphis since 1989 and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and 2 sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Demetrio “Matt” Lopez of Memphis; a son, Rudy Rodriguez and wife Rebecca of Van Buren, Arkansas; a daughter, Sophia Narvaez and husband Albert of Amarillo; 3 step sons, Eric Lopez of Arlington, Wesley Lopez and wife Amy of Arlington, and Estban Lopez and wife Josie of Mansfield; 4 sisters, Janie Martinez, Lucy Vargas, Estella Gomez, and Christina Merla; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
