FUNERAL SERVICES – will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the First Baptist Church of Claude with Rev. Dick Gravley.
INTERMENT- Claude Cemetery.
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson - Armstrong Chapel of Claude.
Virginia was born August 17, 1935 in Lamar, Ok to Carl Burton and Opal Othel Arthur Phelps. She married Rex Bagwell on August 17, 1954 in Tucumcari, NM. Together they moved to Claude in 1963 where Virginia worked as the Bookkeeper for her family’s automotive business. In past time, she loved to play Bingo and greatly enjoyed fishing, spending time with her family, and was a current member of the Panhandle Boat & Ski Club. Virginia was a member of the First Baptist Church of Claude.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; her brother, Aubrey Phelps; and her sister, Chris Graves.
SURVIVORS – her husband, Rex Bagwell, of Claude; her son, Gary Harclerode & wife Brenda, of Claude; her daughter, Deann Mancuso & husband Phil, of Amarillo; her brother, Ryland Phelps & wife Erlene, of Amarillo; her sister, Kay Sam & husband Charlie of Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch.
