Vikki Leigh Clower's Obituary
Vikki Leigh Clower, 77, of McLean, TX, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 in McLean.
Family directed memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Pampa, TX with Rev. Mark Lang officiating.
Cremation and arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.
Vikki Leigh Clower was born in Enid, OK, on August 8, 1945 to Guy Emick and Georgene Smith. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1963 and was a fine musician. She earned a scholarship in music to Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. In 1965, she married CH Clower and moved to Dumas, TX. She had two daughters, Georgena and Rayni. Vikki was an artistic soul, she painted, sewed, and crocheted. Vikki taught oil painting classes and worked at The Dumas Art Center. Vikki held various jobs when her girls were young. In 1997, she began a career at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. She retired in 2011 as a Food Service Manager.
Vikki is preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband of 50 years, CH Clower; and her daughter, Rayni Mares.
She is survived by her daughter Georgena and husband, Ron Neely; sister, Deana Slover; brother, Robert Slover and his wife; four grandsons, Sam Neely, John Neely, Zachary Mares, and Isiah Mares; and her great-grandson, Jericho Mares.
