Vera LaVon Watson's Obituary
Vera LaVon Watson, 80, of Pampa, TX, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 in Pampa.
She was born on May 21, 1945 to Lawrence and Oma Watson of McLean, TX. She graduated from McLean High School in 1963, and Abilene Christian College in 1967.
She taught in the elementary grades for 31 years in Lubbock, Texas City, and Amarillo, TX.
Following her divorce in 1980, she never remarried. She had no children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her older brother, L.M. Watson, Jr.
Survivors include her brother and his wife, Jim and Cindy Watson of Amarillo, TX; sister, and her husband, Marie and Thomas O'Neal of League City, TX; several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Candace, Josh, and Tyler Watson of Pampa, TX.
It was her wish that no services be held.
Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors.
