Valetta Frankenbery's Obituary
Valetta Frankenbery, 87, of Wheeler died Friday, May 1, 2020, in Wheeler.
Graveside Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, May 4, 2020 in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler with Carroll Thomason, officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery.
Viewing will be held from 10:00 AM-12:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. Due to the Coronavirus, we are only allowing 5 people to enter the funeral home at a time.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Valetta was born June 28, 1932 in Neodesha, Kansas to Joel and Evelyn Penn. She married Bob Lewis Frankenbery on April 13, 1953 in Neodesha, Kansas. Valetta was a member of the Wheeler Church of Christ. She was a homemaker, mother, and was a co-owner of Frankenbery Texaco. Valetta loved her family, church family and community very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob; three sons, Kenneth, Mark and Craig Frankenbery; and a great-grandson, Jarrett Eugene Martin.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Frankenbery and wife Kathy of Fairfield, Illinois; three granddaughters, Brandy Weber and husband Brad, Elizabeth Lingafelter and husband Rob and Melissa Russell and husband Charlie; eight great-grandchildren, Gage, Gabby, Dakota, Dalton, Madison, Trent, Hayden and Mason; two sisters, Louise Pendleton and Joelene Evans; many nieces and nephews; and a whole lot of church family and friends.
