When I was a chaplain at the Clements Unit Brother Truman was volunteering in leading the worship service in one of the dorms. I appreciated that he preached to the men in a straightforward exposition of the Bible – nothing flashy or too excited, just sound verse-by-verse preaching. Brother Truman followed me as a chaplain. He continued to be a solid, down-to-earth servant of God in chaplain ministry. May the Lord richly reward this servant and bless his family at his passing.
