CLAUDE MEMORIAL GRAVESIDE SERVICE - 2:30 pm Friday, December 30, 2011 in the Claude Cemetery in Claude with Rev. Dan Carter, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Claude, officiating. INURNMENT- Claude Cemetery in Claude. CREMATION AND ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Armstrong Chapel of Claude. BIOGRAPHY- Hayden was born February 1, 1934 in Claude to Charles and Roberta Bagwell Brunson. He started school in the country and finished Claude High School in 1952. Hayden was a born mechanic. He worked for John Deere dealers for many years in Claude, Panhandle, and Groom. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was stationed in Washington state. On March 25, 1960 he married Virginia Hill in Amarillo and they moved to Claude where they lived all of their married life. He was a very independent minded person in his work and in his thinking. He was very hard working and loyal in his dealings with others. SURVIVORS - his wife, Virginia of Claude; two sons and their wives, Don and Sheryl Brunson of Ft. Worth, Joe and Laura Brunson of Dumas; 2 grandsons, John Hayden Brunson and Tyler Joseph Brunson both of Dumas; 1 brother and his wife, Tommy and Carolyn Brunson of Amarillo; 1 sister, Martha Watts of Amarillo; 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
