While surrounded by family, Tommye Duncan was welcomed home to be with her Lord and Savior, on December 28, 2024 at BSA in Amarillo, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2025 at the First Methodis Read Obituary
I have sweet memories of Tommye Jane Duncan. She was such a beautiful spirit. Tommy Jane, Jimmy and Tashia were always so kind to my late husband, Tom May, and his life career was forever built up by Coach Duncan and the support of his family Tommy Jane and Tasha. Such good people, all three of them, and made the world a better place for so many during the years of school teaching, coaching and living in Vega, and Spearman. I am so sorry I lost connections with Tommye Jane, Jimmy and Tasha during the dark years after I lost my first husband, but I never forgot their kindness and especially the warmth and love Tommy Jane showed us. Praying for comfort and peace for Jimmy, Tasha and family, and most of all praying Tommy Jane will rest in peace and know she truly made the world a better place. Love and hugs, Carolyn May Shelhamer
May God bless Jimmy, Tashia, Brooke, Kami and may he keep them in his care. Tommye Jane was one of my best friends all though school at Estelline and she was my maiden of honor at my wedding. Tommye was one of the nicest person and friend anyone could have. I will miss our telephone calls. She will be missed by many who knew her and her sweet ways.
So sorry for your lost Ttommye was loved by every one who knew her .she would help anyone! She loved those grandkids. She was a lot of fun playing cards and golf when she was younger .jimmy my prayers are with you ,it’s not easy take one day at a time .God bless you all !
I'm so sorry for your loss.
I have such fond memories of Tommye Jane, beginning with school in Estelline
and has continued all these years. Such a great basketball player, and one of the prettiest and sweetest ladies I know. We have shared alot of memories over these many years, and I always looked forward to seeing her at the reunions. The Estelline bond is forever! May God bring you comfort.
