SERVICES- Service will be Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the First Baptist Church, Shamrock, with Rev. Mark Howard, officiating.
INTERMENT – with Military Honors in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Tommy Todd was born April 10, 1937 in Tahoka to Cecil and Ozell Aldridge Todd. Tommy grew up in Well, TX and attended school in O’Donnell. After school he joined the Army and married Zetta Moutrey in 1962 in Kermit; they moved to Jal, NM and he worked for El Paso Natural Gas. She preceded him in death in 1989. Tommy moved to Shamrock and continued to work for El Paso Natural Gas; moving to Gallup, NM for a time and then returned to Shamrock. He married Wanda Howard on September 1, 1990. Tommy retired from El Paso after working for 30 years.
Tommy was a member of Boosters, Sports and Band Boosters, Chamber of Commerce, Little league, Thursday Morning Bible Study, and Meals on Wheels. He was a Deacon at First Baptist Church. Tommy was an avid reader, a good cook, enjoyed bowling and square dancing with Zetta. He was loved by people and was very patient.
He was preceded in death by his wife Zetta Todd, his parents, 2 sisters; Captola Bailey and Letha Faye Adams and a niece; Vicki Merriam
