Timothy Lyn McKinney's Obituary
CLARENDON FUNERAL SERVICES - 2:00 PM Monday, October 8, 2012 in the First Baptist Church in Clarendon with Rev. Bobby Ellerbrook and Rev. Bryan Knowles officiating. INTERMENT - Rowe Cemetery in Hedley, Texas. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Timothy Lyn McKinney was born December 17, 1982 in Memphis, Texas to Elbert Lyn and Gina Kay Land McKinney. He was a graduate of Clarendon High School and also Amarillo Technical School earning a degree in Mechanics. Tim was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin and friend. Tim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Tim enjoyed racing his motorcycles, and won many awards for his talent, which he rode for Texas Cross Country Racing Association. Tim also enjoyed his mini truck that was sponsored by Slamboree in Dallas. He was known for his funny stories, personality, his big smile and kindness to everyone as Tim never met a stranger. Tim was loved by many and will be forever and greatly missed by all. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his great grandfather, Jiggs Land; and his grandfathers, James McKinney, Allan Ring, and George Frosch. SURVIVORS – his son and son’s mother, Zachery Lyn Lockhart McKinney & Faith Lockhart, both of Clarendon; his parents, Lyn and Gina McKinney, of Clarendon; sister, Mandy Burrow and husband Byron, of Clarendon; 2 nephews, Jesse and Nolan Burrow, of Clarendon; his great grandmother, Geraldine Land, of Clarendon; 2 grandmothers, Rava McKinney, of Clarendon, and Darlene Masters, of Weatherford, OK; several aunts and uncles including Edward and Connie McKinney, of McLean, Shannon and Damian Berg, of Johnston, CO, and Ron Ring, of Weatherford, OK; numerous great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
