Tennie was born on March 22, 1933 to William and Frankie Horton. She married Jerry Pritchard on July 26, 1952. They owned and operated Pritchard’s Thriftway for many years until they retired and sold it to their son, Danny. In her free time, Tennie enjoyed baking, watching soap operas and reading books. She was a master card game player and especially enjoyed playing Liverpool rummy with her grandkids, whom she loved spoiling. She also enjoyed camping and fishing. We will forever remember her on the back porch sipping her coffee, sitting with her husband in the early mornings, watching the sunrise.
Tennie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Frankie Horton; her husband, Jerry Pritchard; her son, Danny Pritchard; 3 brothers, Jr Horton, William Horton and Wiley Horton; and 3 sisters, Minnie Lee Corbitt, Rudene Nelson and Tillie Long.
She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Patschke and husband, Mike of Lubbock, TX; 3 grandchildren, Ken File and partner, Susan Appel of Amarillo, TX, Timothy Pritchard of Oklahoma City, OK and Teeka Camarillo and husband, Cameron of Amarillo; and 7 great grandchildren, Brina Pool, Blake Appel and wife, Mikayla, Kensey File, Caybree Camarillo, Braylon File, Tayber Camarillo and Kayleigh File.
