Teddie Jean was a first cousin to my late mother, Sur Layne Brown Dodd. She was so much more than a great aunt or distant cousin. When I would come to visit my grandmother, Bette Katherine Callahan Brown, Teddie would always make me feel welcome and involved as part of the family. She called me numerous times and told me she loved me. She went to great lengths to all family members to make sure they felt loved & included. My heart aches for Sandra & Sue at the loss of their mom & dad. What precious memories they have and a great legacy left. Mackle & Teddie’s influence & love will be seen in their daughters’ lives. So glad my life was touched by theirs.
