TC Sustaire's Obituary
GROOM GRAVESIDE SERVICES - 11:00 AM Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Groom Cemetery in Groom with Sam Line, minister of the Groom Church of Christ, officiating. INTERMENT- Groom Cemetery in Groom. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. TC Sustaire was born July 5, 1932 in Hall Co., Texas to Ned and Ola Mae Anthony Sustaire. He married Shirley Patterson on September 22, 1954 in Memphis. He and Shirley had lived in Amarillo before moving to Groom in 1967. TC had been a barber, a truck driver for Groom Wheat Growers Co-Op, and was in charge of the maintenance department at Groom ISD. He enjoyed camping and loved trading vehicles. He was a member of the Groom Church of Christ. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his parents; a daughter, Sharon Sustaire; a brother Dean Sustaire; and 2 sisters, Billy Skaggs and LaVerne Horn. SURVIVORS – his wife, Shirley Sustaire of Groom; a son Randy Sustaire and wife Janelle of Groom; a sister Valera Souza of California; 3 grandchildren, Brandi Sustaire of Lubbock, Brad Sustaire and wife Kim of Ft. Worth, Courtney Thomas of Groom; and 2 great grandchildren, Collin Thomas and Matthew Sustaire. REMARKS – The body will lie in state at the Groom Church of Christ from 9:00-10:00 am on Friday, May 31, 2013. The family request that memorials be to the Groom Cemetery Association.
