MEMORIAL SERVICES – 1:30 PM Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in the First United Methodist Church in Memphis with Rev. Janet Edwards, officiating.
INTERMENT- Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.

Mrs. Combs was born March 29, 1939 in Memphis to Albert Edward and Loys Enid Moses Fletcher. She married Billy Allen Combs on August 25, 1957 in Memphis. She had operated the Memphis Democrat prior to her retirement. She loved golfing at the Memphis Country Club, was also a Cub Scout and Girl Scout Leader for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Memphis where she was on the music team and also did the music team at the Lakeview and Hedley Methodist Churches. She had been a longtime resident of Memphis prior to moving to Abernathy in August 2013.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her parents.
SURVIVORS – her husband, Billy Combs of Abernathy; 2 sons, Bret Combs of Amarillo and Joey Combs of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Jill Sinklier of Abernathy; 9 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; and 1 step great grandchild.
