Susie Burton Maroon's Obituary
Neoma “Susie” Burton Maroon, 95, passed away early Monday morning, September 14, 2020 at St Ann’s Nursing Home in Oklahoma City. Susie was born on February 2, 1925 in Oklahoma City to Russell & Blanch Krone. Susie was in the first graduating class of North East High School. She enjoyed traveling, family get togethers, painting, and making friends in all the towns they lived in (21 towns just during the kids grade school years)! She had a brother Russel Krone and a sister Nona Mize who preceded her in death.
She had two children, a daughter Elaine Cox and her husband Dale Cox of Oklahoma City and son Steve Burton and his wife Vera Burton of Newcastle. She had five granddaughters, Laura Clark, Melissa Potter, Shelley Overholt, Stacie Baumann, & Stefanie Douglas and 13 great grandkids.
Funeral Services will be Graveside at Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock, Texas on Saturday, September 19th at 1:00 PM under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock, Texas.
