Sue Marshall's Obituary
Memorial Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 23, 2016 in Shamrock Cemetery with Rev. Jarrod Neal officiating.
Inurnment will follow in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Sue Marshall was born Nov. 26, 1925, in Shamrock, to Guy and Estelle (Holmes) Hill, and passed away on January 5, 2016. She grew up in Shamrock, later married Harford Marshall, Jr. and moved to Temple, TX, and eventually returned to live in Shamrock since the early 1980’s. Sue had a varied work history. She was a model, bookkeeper, office manager, owner of a painting and wallpaper hanging business, real estate broker, and clothing store owner. She loved to sew, work on arts and crafts, garden, and play bridge. She was a life-long Methodist and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shamrock.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Wallace Hill.
She is survived by her three children, Hugh (Lynn) Marshall, of Denton, TX, Brenda (Joseph) Chesman, of Lillian, AL, and Wallace (Connie) Marshall, of Lake Jackson, TX; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the First United Methodist Church in Shamrock.
