Stephanie Umsted, a loving Wife, Mother, Ma, and friend, left her earthly home on November 13, 2025.
A memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Church in Wheeler, TX on November 17, 2025 at 2:00pm.
Cremation and arrangements are under the care of Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler, TX.
She was born to Walter Blakeslee and Rosetta Ezell Blakeslee on February 19, 1958. She married her loving husband, James Umsted, on October 28, 1983.
Stephanie worked as an office manager/dispatcher for Turner Energy, along side her husband for 20 years. She worked for Wheeler ISD for the last two years. She enjoyed working outside in her flower beds. She loved gardening with her family. Her favorite past time was cooking and baking for her family.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents and father, Walter Blakeslee.
Stephanie is survived by her husband, James, of 42 years; Her daughters, Brenda and husband Daylon, and Wendy; Her sons, James Robert and wife Staci, Cecil, and Chris. She also leaves behind 9 grandkids and 10 great grandkids.
